Our Romanian friends, former champion Dan Girtofan and his son, future champion Andrei Girtofan had invited for two days of testing and it was a pleasure to be in lovely Bacau with them. In first day it was with Andrei and his Skoda Fabia R5. Prior to coming for test we had analysed some onboard videos and seen the points to try to develop. Andrei is a very calm and mature driver and quickly understands and applies. Worked on some pacenotes and mainly on driving and at the end of the day, taking into account the test stage, everything seemed really good. After the rally we had deeply analysed onboard videos as well. He has the talent to be on top, only needs more kilometres and rallies. As an example, later on he had participated in one of our Turkish Championship event and showed good pace, even winning the powerstage by good margin!
