Ali Türkkan, with whom we had started his rallying career in 2019 after his circuit racing career, has been driving for official Ford team with 2022 being his 2nd full season within the team. His overall rallying experience is still not that much but one more time he had showed his big potential in his debut season in national top level with an R5 rally car. Some ups and downs were part of his season but generally he did very well with his codriver Burak Erdener against their strong competitors despite his much less experience and to be honest the car disadvantage as well. In his last rally with a very good performance, he ended up the national championship with an overall rally victory. Before his first national victory, there was an International competition in France, FIA Motorsport Games. National Team Turkey was present there and Ali with his codriver was one of the crews in rallying discipline for Team Turkey. Driving a Ford Rally4 car, in which he has much more experience, he finished 2nd in his rallying class and won the Silver Medal for Turkey! It had been a very good momentum and fingers crossed for 2023 season!
